Children

The goal of Children’s Committee is to support the spiritual, moral, and emotional development of children within the masjid environment. This committee is dedicated to creating welcoming, engaging, and meaningful experiences that help foster a lifelong love for Islam and a strong attachment to the masjid.

Our vision is to nurture young hearts through programs that teach Islamic values, stories of the Prophets and companions, acts of worship, and good character in a fun, accessible, and age-appropriate manner. The committee also aims to provide a safe space where children can form positive friendships, grow in their identity as young Muslims, and feel a sense of belonging in their masjid.

Mission: To bring programs of interest for kids that will tie their hearts to the masjid. These programs aim to teach kids about Islamic values, history, and practices in an engaging and age-appropriate manner. These programs help children develop a strong understanding of their faith, learn Islamic morals and ethics, and foster a positive connection with their religion.

The Alphabet Potluck at the Park!

Join the ICN Children Committee for a fun-filled afternoon of play, food, friendship, and splash-time fun at the park!

Bring your little ones for a special potluck where each child can participate in a creative alphabet-themed food activity. Simply bring a snack or finger food that starts with the first letter of your child’s name - be creative and have fun!

When: Saturday, August 29th | 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
📍 Wolf Crossing Park Pavilion (3252 Wolf’s Crossing Rd, Naperville, IL 60564)

Adhan Competition 2026

The ICN Children’s Committee is pleased to present the Adhan Competition 2026, a special opportunity for boys ages 5 - 16 years to develop their confidence, strengthen their connection to the Adhan, and showcase their beautiful voices.

📅 Date: Sunday, September 27

⏰ Timing: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM (Check-in begins at 11:40 AM)

📍Location: Masjid An-Noor (Main Prayer Hall)

💰Participation Fee: $10 per registrant

Parents are encouraged to attend and support their sons during the Adhan competition.

We look forward to celebrating our young participants and encouraging the next generation to beautifully carry the call to prayer forward. May Allah SWT bless their efforts and make them among those who call others to prayer with sincerity and excellence. Aameen.
