Early voting for the 2026 General Election is in progress through Nov 2

Election Day is Tuesday, November 3 (polls open 6 AM to 7 PM)

Assalamualaikum,

With November 3rd approaching fast, it is our duty as American Muslims to take part in the greater civil society as fully as we can, using every tool Allah (SWT) has given us. Voting is one of those tools, and this year's midterms are an especially powerful moment to make the Muslim voice heard by our representatives at the local, state, and federal levels.

Local officials decide how our schools are run, how our roads and libraries are funded, how public safety is handled, and how places of worship are zoned. Many of these races are decided by a few hundred votes, so every voice in the Muslim community of Naperville and neighboring cities counts.

Across the country and the world, we have seen a concentrated effort to dehumanize Muslims and push us out of the political process, including:

  • Decisions on our school boards

  • Growing anti-Muslim rhetoric from politicians

  • The targeting of Muslims by ICE

  • Foreign policy decisions that weigh heavily on our ummah

It is our responsibility to make our voice and our vote loud: by voting together, and by voting for the representatives who will carry the solutions we want to the halls of power.

Early voting has already started. Please bring your family and vote as soon as you can.
