  • ICN is at a critical phase in the growth of our community with the number of new attendees and another new facility at 248.  How will we serve the growing community, while maintaining and paying for 4 facilities?  We must also look at the political climate, both local and federal, and get more involved on all levels.  We have to look at what non-Muslim communities are doing politically, and learn from their successes and failures.  Financially, we must look at EVERYTHING.  We need to spend more in areas where it's beneficial to the community, while looking for areas to cut back.  We need to make sure we are providing the right programs and opportunities to the community and continue to grow our full-time and weekend schools.

We must also meet our financial obligations for the construction of Phase 1 of 248, while always keeping in sight future phases.

We can only do the items noted about if we are united!  We always talk about Muslim unity - don't ask for it internationally, if we can't do it at home in our masjids.  May Allah help and guide us!  Ameen!
